While I wouldn’t say this was a “WOW” collection, I did think it was overall quite strong. It seems that Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli ditched the idea of trying to “be” Valentino, and instead, just made really pretty dresses, which is essentially what the brand is about. I didn’t loathe very much, although there were a lot of “blah” pieces, just not bad enough to merit a mention. But the show’s winners were definitely the soft, pretty, delicate dresses and separates, and the knitwear, both which I am sure will sell very well. And I liked that they didn’t bother with any Valentino red


a very simple but beautiful knit dress. I like that it has a slight 60's Valentino reference.

the sheer shoulders and sleeves, the bow belt, and the lovely A-line shape. But can we cover the nipples please?
