It is impossible to look at this show without thinking what is going on with John Galliano? What will happen to his brand? Will he ever “recover?” If I try and cast a non-biased or non-sentimental eye on this collection, I’d say it was very Galliano, lots of beautiful embellishment, great tailoring, and exquisite evening wear. But of course, feelings get in the way, and this show wasn’t a nice way to end a career, if that will end up being the case. It felt as though Galliano‘s ideas were not fully explored, and the short show (twenty looks) didn’t seem complete. But the fact is, they probably weren’t complete.
